Bilberry Pie Smoothie

But back to your mother and why having breakfast makes sense. Breakfast literally means “break fast” after fasting the whole night. Best breakfasts nourish us first thing in the morning with plenty of nutrients, give us energy for the day ahead. Having breakfast may be beneficial for our waistlines, too.  Recent studies have suggested that breakfast skippers are more likely overweight than people that have breakfast. Nutritionists encourage us to enjoy this first meal of the day within two hours after waking up and that the healthy breakfast should make 20 - 35% of our daily calories.

To get ready for the busy morning, try out our Bilberry Smoothie! You can easily enjoy this delicious breakfast on your way to work or at your desk if the time just runs out in the morning.
